Bibliotecă nouă în Dăești, cu fonduri europene!
Miercuri, 9 octombrie 2024, la Dăești, a fost dat startul lucrărilor de modernizare a bibliotecii comunale, parte a proiectului „Bibliotecile vâlcene, noi hub-uri de dezvoltare a competențelor digitale”, pe care Consiliul Judetean Vâlcea îl implementează în colaborare cu 34 de localități din județ. 
Finanțarea totală pentru biblioteca comunală din Dăești este de cca 100.000 euro și cuprinde lucrări de renovare și dotare cu echipamente IT și mobilier.
“Pentru lucrările de renovare, durata de execuție este de 12 luni, iar lucrările care vor fi executate în cadrul contractului sunt:
- Lucrări de construcții (consolidare, înlocuire învelitoare, finisaje interioare)
- Lucrări sistematizări exterioare;
- Lucrări refacere instalații electrice;
- Lucrări instalații sanitare;
- Montare rampă metalica pentru persoane cu dizabilități.
În final, prin proiect, biblioteca va fi dotată cu echipamente IT și software de ultimă generație și mobilier nou, ce vor transforma acest spațiu într-un centru modern de informare și dezvoltare, care să răspundă nevoilor actuale ale oamenilor din zonă”, a explicat Constantin Rădulescu, președintele Consiliului Județean Vâlcea
