Echipa vâlceană Running Hearts aleargă pentru autism la Marea Neagră
Sâmbată 5 mai, echipa vâlceană Running Hearts ia startul în cursa de ultramaraton pe nisip „Alerg 24H Autism Marea Neagră”. Evenimentul, aflat la a II-a ediție, are ca scop promovarea drepturilor de integrare a persoanelor cu nevoi speciale în Romania și construirea plajei terapeutice, destinată persoanelor cu disabilități.
„Alerg 24H Autism Marea Neagră” este singura competiție ultramaraton din Europa organizată pe nisip. La START sunt așteptate peste 40 de echipe, fiecare echipă fiind formată din câte 30 de membri. Membrii fiecărei echipe pot parcurge traseul de concurs de 3 km, ori de câte ori doresc pe durata celor 24 de ore, însă, în fiecare moment, cel puțin un membru din fiecare echipă trebuie să fie prezent pe traseu.
Impresionați de impactul pe care un asemenea proiect l-ar putea avea într-o realitate românească în care persoanele cu autism sau cu alte forme de disabilități sunt marginalizate, stigmatizate și fără suport din partea societății, un grup de prieteni, salariați în diferite companii vâlcene cu capital românesc, au format echipa Running Hearts din dorința de a fi parte activă în acest proiect unic, ce va avea loc la Marea Neagră. “Inserția socială trebuie să ne preocupe pe fiecare în parte și pe toți împreună, așa cum ne procupă educația și evoluția propriilor nostri copii, altfel vom fi o societate lipsită de empatie, de înțelegere, fără premise de progres” – a declarat Mihaela Rovența, căpitanul echipei Running Hearts.
Companiile vâlcene Damila, Wise Pavaje, Boromir, SanoVita, SuperCargo și-au exprimat imediat și necondiționat dorința de a susține participarea la un astfel de proiect considerând că o evoluție bună a activității lor este legată de dezvoltarea durabilă a comunității.
“Este impresionant să vezi cum o acțiune a unui grup informal de prieteni, oganizați într-o echipă sub denumirea de Running Hearts, care doresc să fie activi la un eveniment sportiv ce susține incluziunea persoanelor cu autism, primește suportul neconditionat al unor companii locale, care astfel dau dovada unei comunități de afaceri unite, căreia îi pasă de viitorul sănătății societății românești” – a declarat Claudia Militaru, mama unui minunat baiețel diagnosticat cu TSA.
