Cel mai mare proiect din istoria Râmnicului: Proiect de 140 milioane euro, la CET GOVORA!
Joi, 24 august 2023, la Guvernul României, în prezența premierului Marcel Ciolacu, a ministrului Dezvoltării, Adrian-Ioan Veștea, și a primarului Mircia Gutău, președintele Consiliului Județean Vâlcea, Constantin Rădulescu, a semnat cel mai mare contract pentru finanțarea unei investiții din județul Vâlcea.
Este vorba despre un contract cu o valoare de cca 140 milioane euro, bani ce se vor utiliza pentru construirea, la CET Govora, a unei centrale termice în cogenerare, de înaltă eficienţă, care va asigura termoficarea Municipiului Râmnicu Vâlcea.
Consiliul Județean Vâlcea a achiziţionat teren şi active funcţionale situate pe amplasamentul industrial al CET Govora, urmând ca noua centrală să înlocuiască treptat capacităţile de producţie existente (care funcționau pe bază de cărbune).
În prima etapă a proiectului, furnizarea necesarului de agent termic în sistemul de termoficare (vară/iarnă) va fi realizată prin punerea în funcţiune a 4 cazane cu apă fierbinte şi a două motoare termice, fiecare cu o putere de 10,4 MW electrici.
Ulterior, se vor pune în funcţiune alte 3 motoare termice cu puteri de 10,4 MW electrici, ultima investiție fiind centrala de cogenerare pe biomasă de 1,8 MW electrici, care va asigura un randament maxim al acestui proiect.
Prin realizarea acestui obiectiv de investiții, pe lângă faptul că se va produce, într-un mod prietenos cu mediul, energie termică şi electrică, se va obține și un preţ mai mic al gicaloriei furnizată în sistem şi, implicit, un grad de confort şi satisfacţie mai mare pentru toți consumatorii (populație, instituţii publice, spitale, unități de învățământ, agenţi economici).
„Noua investiție ne oferă siguranța că, într-un viitor foarte apropiat, vom putea asigura energia termică de care are nevoie întreg municipiul Râmnicu Vâlcea, la standarde înalte de eficiență și de protecție a mediului înconjurător.
Dacă adăugăm și faptul că rețelele de termoficare din municipiu vor fi și ele modernizate (avem în implementare un proiect cu o valoare de 17 milioane euro), în scurt timp, se vor elimina pierderile din sistem, iar râmnicenii vor plăti un preţ mai mic pentru apa caldă și căldura furnizate de CET Govora.
Ziua de astăzi este pentru mine o zi a satisfacției depline pentru că, prin acceptarea la finanțare a acestui nou proiect, facem un pas mare pentru dezvoltarea județului.
