„Regia Autonomă Judeţeană de Drumuri şi Poduri Vâlcea realizează, în anul 2018, un profit brut de peste 11,5 miliarde lei vechi, depășind astfel estimările făcute. Acest fapt nu poate decât să ne bucure, fiindcă ne demonstrează că au fost luate cele mai bune decizii pentru eficientizarea activităţii acesteia, iar în doi ani şi jumătate de la preluarea mandatului, când am găsit Regia într-o situație extrem de complicată, am reușit să o redresăm și, mai mult decât atât, să o facem profitabilă şi capabilă să realizeze cifre record ca și profit brut.
Am făcut asta alături de colegii mei – actuala echipă a Consiliului Județean Vâlcea – și de toți cei care lucrează pentru ca drumurile județene să se prezinte într-o stare bună și chiar foarte bună. Printr-o strategie ofensivă, care a presupus participarea și câștigarea mai multor licitaţii pentru obiective finanţate cu fonduri europene sau guvernamentale, avem astăzi în proceduri de achiziție, stație de astfalt, utilaje noi, dar, cel mai important, avem siguranţa locurilor de muncă pentru oameni, perspective de dezvoltare și profiturile financiare prezentate.
